Tektronix Logic Analyzer Application Software - Version 5.1 Service Pack 1

This download contains Version 5.1 SP1 TLA Application Software; however,
third-party software is NOT available in this download that IS included in the
full TLA Software upgrade on CD.  Please obtain the full upgrade on CD by
ordering the appropriate (free) upgrade kit:
for TLA7012, TLA7016, TLA7PC1 -> order TLA7KUP Option 42
for TLA715, TLA721            -> order TLA7UP  Option 42
for TLA520x                   -> order TLA5KUP Option 42

V5.1SP1 can be used to upgrade TLA7012, TLA7016, TLA715, TLA721 or TLA520x
logic analyzers, and can be installed on an external PC.  (V4.4 is the latest
TLA software for upgrading TLA600, TLA714, and TLA720.  V3.2 is the latest for
TLA704 and TLA711.  Those versions are also downloadable from this website.)

For this web download, follow this general procedure:

1. Download TLA_V51SP1_DOWN.exe to your TLA or PC.

2. Double-click on the file you just downloaded.

3. Click the UNZIP button to extract the following files to C:\TLA_V51SP1_DOWN

TLA_V51SP1.exe       - Version 5.1SP1 TLA Application Software Installer
TLASWDOWN_V51SP1.pdf - Detailed installation instructions
PCI-TLA_Bridge_V51   - Folder with 2 files for upgrading TLAs w/ V4.4 or earlier
WARNING_FOR_TLA7012_UPGRADES - please read & heed this warning!

4. Close the unzip window.

5. Open the TLASWDOWN_V51SP1.pdf file and follow the ENTIRE PROCEDURE to
complete the installation.
