The software may reside on the hard drive of your Tektronix
Oscilloscope and on the Optional Applications Software DVD
received with your oscilloscope.  The web download file may be
newer than either your oscilloscope or DVD version.

When the SignalVu application is loaded on your oscilloscope, the
application can be started from the oscilloscope menu:
Analyze -> SignalVu Vector Signal Analysis Software, or by selecting
the SignalVu desktop icon.


Free Trials
-----------
This software download offers free trials of the SignalVu
application for evaluation.  Once the free trials are exhausted,
a software security key may be purchased from Tektronix to permanently
enable the software application on your oscilloscope.

Step-by-Step Instructions
-------------------------
1.  If your oscilloscope is not connected to the network, then
download the installer file to a personal computer and make a CD
OR place the file on a file server accessible to your
oscilloscope OR copy the file to a USB memory stick or thumb
drive.  Copy the file to the oscilloscope Desktop and then
proceed with step 2.

2.  If the scope application is running, close it by choosing
the red X in the upper right corner or by selecting File > Exit.

3.  Run the SignalVu installation program.  Follow the on-screen
instructions to complete the installation.

4.  Once the application in successfully installed, remove the
installer file from your oscilloscope desktop.
