RSAVu Offline Analysis Software Installation for version  4.20.008

General Information:
Use these instructions to download the most recent analyzer software to your Real-Time Analyzer.
This new version RSAVu supports RSA6100A series, RSA3000B series and RSA3000A series.
You can continue to use your current RSAVu dongle for this new release, no dongle upgrade is needed
NOTE1: This firmware update does not apply to WCA300 series instruments.

Pls check the latest RSA3000B Firmware release note from www.tek.com for feature enhancements.

Downloading the software:

The installation files can be downloaded to a PC connected to the internet.

Uninstall/Installing the software:

Uninstall Current Software
1. If the existing RSAVu application is running, right-click the software's icon in the Windows task bar and select "Close".

2. From the Start menu select Settings->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs.
Select the program with "RSAVu" and the old version number in the name, and click Change/Remove.
The old firmware application is now uninstalled.

Install New Firmware
3. Locate the downloaded file on the computer's hard disk drive.
Unzip the file and Launch the Setup file to start the install program.
Follow the on-screen directions or see the RSAVu Release Notes for further information.
4. Insert your hardware key into an available USB port on your computer before launching the RSAVu software.
5. TekVISA version 3.X must be re-installed to enable remote control of RSAVu.
TekVISA version 3.X can be downloaded from the Tektronix web site.
